Will not give entry without card, will catch if someone comes drunk, will even fire if necessary, ‘Hera’ will surprise – Jharkhand student Hamza Rehman has created a unique humanoid security robot you will be surprised to see it – News18 Hindi

Ranchi. You must have seen many types of robots by now. But, Lal from Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, has prepared a unique robot, which has been designed keeping in mind the security of the bank or office. This robot will work as a security guard. Yes! Hamza Rehman of Ranchi has created a human-like security robot ‘Hera’. Hamza Rehman claims that this robot can work as a security guard in many institutions including offices, banks, factories. That means it has been made as an alternative to the guard. Hamza Rehman has given this robot the look of a female robot.

This robot is completely operated remotely. Hamza Rehman tells that he had fun with electronic goods since childhood. During his school days, he used to acquire new information about electronic devices in his free time. He told that when he went to the bank one day and saw that there was no guard, then he thought why not make a security guard type robot. Since then, he had a desire to make this type of robot and efforts were being made for it for a long time.

This robot is operated by sensors

Hamza Rehman tells that it took about six months to make this human-like robot. This robot has a sensor and after hearing the sound from this sensor, it starts working accordingly. If it is put on duty in the bank, then this robot will not allow anyone to enter without a valid pass. If any employee is going inside the office after drinking alcohol, this guard will stop him. That is, this robot also has a sensor installed which senses the smell of alcohol and stops the employee from going inside. If any miscreant tries to run away, you can also fire at him with a gun. Along with this, this robot can converse in two languages: Hindi and English.

Kept me away from mobile addiction

Hamza Rehman is greatly inspired by his father. His father Khalilur Rehman says that since childhood I kept him away from mobile. Due to staying away from mobile, he was able to get attracted towards the world of electronics and focus on it. Had he also been given a mobile phone, perhaps my son would not have been able to build such a robot. The father has a heartfelt wish that the son should study further in this field so that in the future, he can make Jharkhand and the country proud by building better robots.

‘Hera’ is special in this sense

However, 19-year-old Hamza Rehman, resident of Lower Bazaar, Ranchi, has created a humanoid security robot ‘Hera’, which is a subject of curiosity in the entire area. People continuously come to his house and are curious to know about this robot. Hamza claims that this is India’s first humanoid security robot. Hamza Rehman’s father Khalilur Rehman owns an electronics shop and mother Shahina Firdous is a home maker.
